Dr. Tracy Scott, DMD

Periodontist

“Implant and Periodontal Specialist”

Dr. Tracy Scott is a nationally respected Periodontist and Implant Specialist who has served as a Specialty Advisor to the Surgeon General. Dr. Scott was raised in Charleston, South Carolina, and earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. A career highlight as a Navy Veteran and his 30+ years a Dental Specialist was his assignment at Bethesda Naval Hospital called the “President’s Hospital” located outside of DC. Dr. Scott served as the Periodontics Chairman and Residency Director at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School. At this teaching hospital, his department was involved in the specialty training of military dentists. His staff was also dedicated to the treatment and rehabilitation of our many wounded warriors. Dr. Scott’s absolute focus was on helping this most deserving group of patients, but in retrospect, he was the one who benefited the most by expanding his scope of advanced surgical skills. It was this assignment that shaped his treatment philosophy. Patients first with no second priority. After many years of travel, the Pacific Northwest immediately captured Dr. Scott with its abundant natural beauty. But it was the wonderful people who sold him on making the Northwest his final home. Dr. Scott’s expertise includes dental implant placement, minimally invasive gum grafting, bone grafting, sinus lifts, cosmetic gum contouring, wisdom teeth, and surgical extractions. On weekends, he hikes with his black lab, kayaks in the Sound, and spends quality time with his wife, Michelee.

Dr. Christina Tran DDS

Prosthodontist

“All-on-4 & Cosmetic Dentistry”

What drew Dr. Christina Tran to dentistry is the ability to positively affect the lives of her patients.

Dr. Tran attended the prestigious University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry. Following several years of private practice, she went on to specialize in Advanced Prosthodontics and sub-specialize in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at the University of California Los Angeles.

Before moving to the Pacific NW, Dr. Christina Tran worked in Hollywood, across from the Warner Bros studio, providing all aspects of care to patients in the aesthetically-demanding movie industry. She then worked closely with an in-house dental surgeon and in-house dental lab to plan, coordinate and deliver multiple full mouth oral rehabilitations a day.  It was supremely rewarding to affect her patients’ lives in a dramatic and positive way. Dr. Tran is experienced in recreating smiles and restoring teeth through veneers, crowns, implants, partials, dentures, overdentures, all-on-x fixed implant bridges, and obturators.

But more importantly than fixing teeth, is helping patients feel more like themselves. Dr. Tran’s personal goal for her patients is to not think about dentistry or worry about their smile. She wants her patients to go out in the world confidently and happily, instead of hiding their joy by covering their laughter with their hands, or reservedly smirking in photos instead of smiling with teeth. A lover of food, Dr. Tran also wants her patients to chew tender steak, bite on crunchy baguettes and gnaw on corn on the cob, if that’s what they want to enjoy!

Her hobbies are centered around exploring the world around us: through nature activities like hiking and diving, through cuisine, and by traveling to other countries and talking with locals to understand their culture and way of life. She is working to visit all of the US National Parks and the 7 Wonders of the World.

Dr. Niloufar Amintavakoli, DDS

Orthodontist

“Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology”

Dr. Niloufar Amintavakoli was born and raised in a family deeply rooted in dentistry, with her father practicing as a dentist. Being exposed to the field from an early age inspired her interest in oral health and shaped her path toward a career in dentistry. She completed her dental education in Iran. She then moved to Toronto, Canada to earn a Master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Her academic and professional journey led her to New York University, where she had the privilege of serving as a faculty member and Director of Radiology Department. During this time, she was involved in both teaching and clinical practice, further strengthening her passion for education and patient care.

She then moved to Washington State with her husband, who is also a dentist, to pursue her orthodontic residency and continue advancing her clinical skills. This transition reflects her ongoing commitment to growth and excellence in the field of dentistry.

Outside of her professional life, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with my family. She lives with her husband, Siamak, and their son, Levin, and values the balance between her career and family life.
